Ben Aulich – an update from our Managing Partner

Today I appeared on behalf of my friend and business partner Ben Aulich in the ACT Magistrates Court.

The purpose of today’s contested committal hearing was to try to prevent a matter which is fundamentally flawed from being sent to the ACT Supreme Court for trial.

This was the first opportunity we’ve had to go into detail about why the case against Ben is flawed.

After hearing our arguments, Special Magistrate Richter reserved his decision until mid-August.

While it doesn’t take much evidence for a matter to be committed to trial, we are pleased with how things went today and hopeful of a good outcome.

We remain grateful to our clients, colleagues and friends for your ongoing support of Ben and the firm.
